The Group Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator's key role is to promote the image and services of the company in order to achieve maximum growth through gaining new clients and improving overall revenue.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Administer website, update rates and specials, ensure that information/rates on website are current and accurate.
- Keeping up to date with updates and postings on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor and other online mediums, administer news, specials, photographs, etc.
- Ensure that operational objectives are met through developing social media and marketing campaigns
- Manage all digital marketing, create and distribution thereof
- Generate and manage annual calendar of marketing events, adverts, shows etc. proposed for the year.
- Develop and optimize all marketing initiatives to obtain clients
- Annalise competitor set and perform weekly yielding
- Weekly and monthly reporting to head office regarding all activities and results
- Stay on top off all latest marketing trends in the hospitality sector
- Liaise with PR company and develop angles for media publications for approval
- Knowledge of the group's online reviews and online customer reputation
- Grow company's online channels and optimization of company websites
- Develop policies, processes and standards to ensure effective high-quality hospitality experiences are provided to guests
- Oversee large group bookings, assembling a team to plan and execute
- Develop the company wide annual plan and activities for the Hospitality experiences
- Together with the procurement team, select and manage suitable (best) suppliers for operational materials
- Facilitate communication and collaboration of leadership teams across the group
- Ensure that each department delivers consistently high levels of guest service
- Achieve business objectives, maximize profitability whilst maintaining effective control
- Plan and direct the groups' main operations including quality, standards, cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Promote a culture of excellence in guest care
- Work alongside the General Managers to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations
- Conduct regular operations meetings with the department heads to discuss operational matters including performance targets and guest feedback
- Responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of service
- Ensure implementation of stand operating procedures throughout all departments
- Be responsible for the day-to-day queries and resolving of complaints and problems
- Liaise regularly with the general managers to forecast hotel business and plan accordingly maximize financial opportunities through pro-active selling and drive initiatives in this regard
- Conduct inhouse health and safety audits
- Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication
- Conduct regular inspections of all departments in the areas of guest service, delivery, cleanliness presentation, service delivery and employee presentation

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 Years Hospitality industry experience
- 3 - 5 Years Revenue Management Experience in the Hospitality Industry
- Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop and MS Publisher - design programs
- SEO, WordPress, Google AdWords
- Guest Revu / Oliry / Intellimetrix
- Rocketseed and Everlytic - E-mail marketing systems
- Degree and / or National Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Formal management Qualification
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans - Written / spoken
- Proficient in MS Office - Intermediate excel essential
