The Competition Commission is looking to recruit a dynamic, hard-working and committed individual to fill a position of a **Payroll Clerk** in the Finance Division. Applicants should be organised, thorough and enjoy challenging situations. Attention to detail, ensuring quality and standards are met and keeping errors to a minimum are important factors in this position. The Payroll Clerk will also play a key role in providing administrative expertise regarding the accurate calculation of wages and related reporting.

**(A starting annual total cost to company package of R 588 660,41 negotiable commensurate with experience)**

**Please note that this position is available on a five-year fixed term contract, renewable.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- A completed National Diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent tertiary qualification
- A minimum of 3 years Payroll experience.
- Knowledge of Payroll system, experience in Sage 300 People would be added an advantage.
- Related tax regulations, legislation and guidelines
- Basic Accounting practises and procedures.
- Financial competence to perform detailed calculations.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy in all MS Office packages with advanced Excel skills

**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete monthly Payroll processes.
- Provide Payroll support and advice
- Process Bonus and Incentive payments
- Finalise tax documentation.
