**Position: Senior Desktop Support Technician**
**Department: Infrastructure**
**Location: Durban**

**Responsibilities**:

- Set-up and install workstations & other end user equipment
- Identify & Fix computer hardware and software problems
- Complete administrative records as required (Ticket & Logging)
- Setting up the Organization’s computer system to meet specific business goals
- Collaborate with network and server teams to resolve infrastructure incidents
- Identify & Fix general security related issues, such as, but not limited to: User

Identification, Virus/Malware/Ransomware, Endpoint security policies.
- Update and maintain the computer inventory and equipment.
- General education/up skilling of users and colleagues where/when applicable.
- Support complex infrastructure with various integrations.
- Support general End user equipment such as, but not limited to:

- Computer workstations (MS Windows, Mac OS, Chrome OS)
- Printers
- Telephony
- Mobile devices (Android, iOS)
- General Peripherals (Webcams, headsets, etc)
- Audio Visual equipment (Projectors, Wireless casting, Video conferencing)

**Key Competencies and Qualifications**:

- Grade 12
- Accredited MCITP or equivalent certification
- Familiar with both MS Office and Google G Suite productivity suites
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Desktop Support environment
- Motivated and organized with customer oriented and service focus
- Able to work independently without direct supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good administration and time-management skills.
- Willing to work overtime and standby occasionally
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Must have your own transport

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R123.00 - R1,234.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Desktop Support environment: 5 years (required)
