Human Resource Consultant

**Job Purpose**:
The purpose of this job is to serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, administering contracts and help to resolve work-related problems. The People & Culture Business partner will assist the People & Culture Department to:
- Execute operational requirements of the business.
- Recruit and select experienced staff for SNG GANT THORNTON and its clients.
- Manage disciplinary and industrial relations issues, including investigations.
- Give support and guidance to business unit leaders regarding recruitment, selection and appointments.
- Also assist business with People & Culture generalist functions, i.e., performance, grading, employee relations, employee wellness, admin support, payroll, PC reports and other PC related duties.
**Minimum Qualification**:
- 3-year National Diploma/Degree in HR or related qualifications
- Very strong in team leadership and sound team player
- Good knowledge of IR processes
- Additional training in Managing disciplinary hearings, Conflict management, Performance
- management, Rewards and benefits advantageous.
- Willing to travel as and when required
**Minimum Experience**:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in People space
- 3 years sound experience in employee relations, performance management, payroll & wellness
- Understanding of applicable Legislations, i.e. LRA, EEA, BCEA, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint presentation
- Presentation skills experience at all levels a must
