Technical Account Manager - Johannesburg.

A renowned and very well-established international telecoms and messaging company is looking for a “Technical Account Manager” to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in either Cape Town or Bryanston, Johannesburg. They also have Hybrid working options available.

We are looking for a skilled Technical Account Manager to support customers with provisioning apps, ads and API integrations. You will be part of the Technical Delivery and Presales team, having a direct impact on our business success in an exciting, fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the sales team in pre-sales and post-sales with the common goal of ensuring customer success
- Deliver timely, accurate and professional product support to all internal and external customers
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers with the primary goal of growing revenue
- Unpack and understand complex or ambiguous internal and external requests
- Review customer feedback, investigate possible product issues, identify opportunities, and contribute to the product roadmap
- Find process gaps, collect data, propose solutions, and work with engineers and the service delivery team to continually improve services
- Demonstrate excellent time-management skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Contribute to a positive team environment and proactively help team members to meet and exceed team goals and metrics

**Position Requirements**:

- A deep understanding of how the web works, including good knowledge of HTTP protocols and standard technologies such as HTML, JS and CSS. This understanding will ideally be evidenced via a 4+ year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar, or longer experience in
industry. It should include an understanding of standard technologies such as REST, JSON as regards API design and testing.
- 2+ years of experience in consulting or customer relationship role such as technical account manager, consulting, or technical program/product management.
- Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills for in person and video/telephonic customer interaction
- Proven track record as a quick learner
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and cross functional environment
- Strong, creative, analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to collect and present data to propose solutions to existing problems
