Our client a national private hospital group is looking to employ a RN - Clinical Facilitator
- Critical Care to work at one of their hospitals.

Qualifications & Experience;
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing Science
- Registered with South African Nursing Council
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience as a clinical facilitator / specialist
- Post basic specialty discipline qualification e.g. Critical care
- Advance cardiac life support would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Key areas
- Responsible for research and development activities to discover new knowledge about products, processes and services.
- Responsible for planning training needs to facilitate the orientees and supervisions sessions.
- Ensure quality care delivered by staff with focus on patient centered compliance during supervision sessions
- Spot on training and guidance during follow-up of newly booked staff.
- Participation with the hospital CTS related to specific workshops and training needs and outcomes.
- Monthly clients’ meetings with the hospital management team and the Clinical Facilitators.
- Mandatory to attend regional meetings facilitated by the reginal specialist in the different specialties.
- Compliance of essential evaluation competencies and CPD programs for the different nursing categories
- Responsible for keeping accurate employee clinical records.
- Induction and compliance to meet the objectives of Infection prevention and control standards.
- Good understanding of OHS act and the regulations.

Adverse event management, data collection, root cause analysis and the factual approach to decision making.

Able to compile quality improvement projects where the needs been identified.,
- Plan organize and ensure active involvements in process of all academic related projects
- Actively facilitate learning opportunities that are relevant to temporary staff and clinical unit learning objectives.
- Provide ongoing clinical support and practice development focusing on competencies, service improvements, communication, improved coordination and action learning.
- Participate in education forums locally, regionally and nationally when needed.
- Act as a resource to other professionals to ensure ongoing development and appropriate education.
