We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Manager for a dynamic and growing company that is based in Hout Bay.

Key Resposnsibiltites
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
- Providing direction for internal IT team members and external IT related service providers.
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Ensure best practice cyber security is implemented and maintained across all platforms.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, procedures and IT policies and best practice guides for the organization.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems. Working closely with other department managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network.
- Managing integration of company wide systems to allow for more automated workflows.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5 year or more proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Expertise in data center management, cyber security and data governance
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Experience in managing personnel
