Our client is looking for a vibrant, energetic Lodge Management couple to take control of a 5* Safari Lodge and create an unforgettable experience. The couple should be well rounded in general management, each bringing their own skills but functioning as a strong team.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in hospitality or similar (Beneficial)
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior managerial role in a 4/5 star lodge operation in a BIG 5 game reserve (ESSENTIAL)
- Excellent understanding of all functions within a luxury hospitality operation
- Especially in F&B
- Passion for the Safari industry and the activities
- can interactively discuss and recommend activities to guests.
- All management duties
- Hands on
- Guest relations, Manage all departments, Assistance in all aspects of the lodge
- Staff / HR - management of all staff; monthly wages; recording of leave; oversee all departments; staff discipline
- Administration - stock control; month end stock counts; petty cash management; balancing of guest monies received; budget control
- Health and Safety compliance in all aspects of the lodge from kitchen to maintenance
- Excellent Customer Relations Skills
- Hands on hosting duties
- Computer Literate (MS Office suite and reservations/ POS programs)
- Well spoken, takes initiative and leads by example for the team
- Detail-oriented, organised and responsible
- Proven record of managing staff effectively and empathetically
- Professional and well groomed
- Of Sober habits
- excellent past track record
- Valid Driver’s license with own transport
