We are looking for a FRONT OFFICE MANAGER to join the team of a well-known, 4-star private game reserve. Must have at least 2 - 3 yers previous front office experience in a similar position in a large hotel. Matric is a minimum requirement, hospitality degree/diploma beneficial. Valid RSA ID. Own transport. Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays (hospitality hours). Proficient in MS Office with good advanced Excel skills. Excellent Opera PMS as well as back of house functions a pre-requisite.

This is a busy, high-volume but friendly environment that will suit an organized person with great communication skills and plenty of team spirit. You will be responsible for Front Office duties including but not limited to; check in and out of guests, reservations, guest enquiries and requests in line with business strategies. Must be capable of making reservations via phone, or in writing or on the booking system. Innkeeper experience will an advantage. Must be capable in dealing with guest queries and / or complaints.Capturing of arrivals.Check in and out of guests. Daily admin duties. Daily Cash up.Weekly Reports. Manage Front Office Department. Sorting out of guest complaints and solve guest problems as and when they occur. Bilingual in both English and Afrikaans with good writing skills. Solid interpersonal skills. Great problem solver. Must be prepared to go the extra mile.
