Valor Hospitality Partners, a leading hospitality management company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Manager to join our client's team in Cape Town.

Detail:
As the Front Office Manager, you will take full and sole responsibility for the supervision and control of all guest services, reservations, guest relations, and administration of the Front Office Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the smooth operation of the Front Office Department by supervising and controlling all guest services, reservations, and guest relations
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by ensuring that all guest inquiries, complaints, and requests are handled efficiently and effectively
- Manage the Front Office team by providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure that they deliver exceptional guest service
- Monitor and analyze the department's performance by reviewing reports, financial statements, and other data, and taking corrective action where necessary
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy, and control expenses to meet or exceed budgeted targets
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, employees, and stakeholders to promote a positive image of the hotel
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance throughout the Front Office Department
- Ensure all employees receive ongoing training and development to enhance their skills and job performance
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain guests

**Requirements**:

- Hospitality Management Qualification essential
- 2 - 3 years Front Office management experience essential
- 5+ years Front Office experience
- Experience with an HMS system (Protel advantageous)
- Proactive in approach, able to remain calm under pressure, and have excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great attention to detail and trustworthiness
- Presentable and well-spoken with strong leadership skills and ability to delegate effectively

- Ability to work shifts
