**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage a range of crucial support functions within Operations and Trade Execution, including overseeing the invoicing team, remote silo bag depot sites administration, and contract desk operations responsible for daily position and PNL reporting.
- Provide essential support to the Operations Manager, assisting in resource planning, relationship management with key stakeholders, and implementing controls across functions.
- Develop and implement systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the performance, capacity, and development of team leaders, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing team environment.
- Drive the creation, management, and analysis of monthly reports, ensuring accurate insights and data for decision-making.
- Establish and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for teams and conduct performance appraisals aligned with business goals.
- Take ownership of position and risk management, ensuring comprehensive oversight of daily operations and potential risks.
- Manage Capex administration and reporting to the group's Head Office, contributing to financial transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate the annual audit process, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within Operations and Trade Execution.**:

- **Tertiary qualification in a related field and/or BComm degree, providing a strong foundation for managerial responsibilities.**:

- Operational Management background within the agricultural industry, enhancing expertise and understanding of sector-specific dynamics.
- Demonstrated track record in successfully managing and leading teams of more than 10 individuals.
- Proficiency in administration, reporting, and risk assessment, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Extensive skillset in automation of systems, processes, and operations, streamlining workflows for increased efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English, supporting effective collaboration across diverse teams.
- Strong organizational skills, enabling successful multitasking in a fast-paced professional office environment.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Background in grains and oilseeds (maize, wheat, soya beans, sunflower seed, oils, and soya bean meal), offering valuable industry-specific knowledge.
- Exposure to silo operations administration, providing insights into specialized operational processes.
- Experience with ERP systems, contributing to effective data management and process optimization.
