Job Title: Admin Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Paarden Eiland, Cape Town

Salary: R25 000 CTC per month

Working hours: Monday Friday 8.00 am 5.00 pm / Alternate weekends Saturday 8.00 3.00 pm and Sunday 9.00 pm 2.00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assessing staff performance, attendance and provide guidance

2. Planning, coordinating administrative procedures and systems including training

3. Payroll Administration staff additions/termination schedule, leave, salary deductions, etc.

4. Ensure accurate and timeous cash-ups, banking and related procedures

5. Preparation of branch budget and monitoring actual expenditure

6. Review of system reports daily and investigation of discrepancies

7. Management and review of suspense accounts

8. Verifying EFT transactions

9. Overseeing stock ordering, inter-branch transfers

10. Manage and control of petty cash and stationery

11. Approval of purchase orders and other documentation

12. Review of documents prior to submission to Head Office for payment (creditors and customer refunds)

13. Ensure a smooth workflow of all administrative processes

14. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

15. Overseeing Debtors & Creditors Administration and act as backup when required.

16. Perform Sales Floor Manager Duties when required.

Key Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Finance or related qualification

2. Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role

3. Working experience with Accounting software packages

4. Strong MS Office skills

5. Ability to work under pressure and according to tight deadlines

6. Have excellent documentation and communication skills

7. Attention to Detail and high level of accuracy

8. A team player with leadership skills
