Role overview:
Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.(includes lunch hour) with flexibility for overtime as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist firm attorneys and members of the firm’s management in the identification and resolution of conflicts of interest
- Conduct database research and analysis of the data
- Understand and interpret conflicts and other reports and summarize their contents
- Assist with maintenance and update of the conflicts database
- Assist Conflicts Manager, Supervisor and Coordinator with the training of new Conflicts Junior Analysts and Conflicts Analysts
- Become expert in understanding and utilization of Conflicts Database
- Assist the New Business Conflicts and Compliance Department with a wide range of analysis requests and other projects related to the resolution and clearance of conflicts of interest issues as assigned, including but not limited to, resolution of a broad range of conflicts issues, portable and non-portable lateral issues
- Monitor and track various special interest projects
- Assist firm attorneys in identification and resolution of conflicts of interest; Coordinate receipt and documentation and preparation of engagement letters and client waivers and/or consents, and prepare and implement screens/firewalls when required
- All members of the firm are expected to participate in our Global Citizenship program.

Requirements profile:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years working in an corporate environment preferred.

Experience
- At least one (1) year of Conflicts researching experience preferred. Conflicts analysis and resolution experience a plus.
- Elite database or comparable database experience preferred.
- If no prior conflicts experience, at least two (2) years of legal background as a legal assistant or other comparable position consisting of researching and database experience preferred.
- Must have strong organizational skills, be multitasked, have strong analytical and writing and communication skills.
- Strict attention to detail is a must.
- Must be responsible for completing tasks and following through with the resolution of issues with mínimal supervision; including, the ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment.
- Must have Word processing and Excel skills.
