A leading office automation and digital services company is looking to hire a Pre-Sales Consult to join their team, the successful incumbent must meet the below criteria;
**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide pre-sales support for the agreed Portfolio of Pre-Sales Products and Services, including Sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, assessment services and production of proposals
- Work with Sales force to identify next steps for Pre-Sales opportunities within each account
- Day to day reporting pipeline and performance to Pre-sales Management
- Promotion of the Pre-Sales Services through to Sales/Indirect Channel
- Solution Design using the agreed portfolio of products and that are compatible with the customers’ infrastructure
- Ownership of the Statement of Work documents from creation through to customer approval
- Ensure 100% compliance with the Pre-Sales processes
- Actively participate in account planning and strategy sessions, both internally and with the customer
- Ensure regular production of their individual Pre-Sales pipeline to both Sales and Pre-sales Management
- Ensure the pre-sales target is met or exceeded
- Development and delivery of both business and technical solutions
- Responsible for resolving any on-going technical issues with the customer
- Protect and increase a profitable pre-sales revenue stream within current accounts. Make sure all accounts are visited at least once every 90 days
- Exceed Pre-Sales targets

**REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Grade 12 (mandatory)
- Relevant tertiary qualification an advantage
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in similar field
- A solid understanding of the Pre Sales portfolio of products
- Full understanding of the technical and business concepts surrounding the following areas:
- Document Management
- Content Management
- Print Management
- Workflow Solutions
- Capture Solutions (Scan and Fax technologies - inc. F.O.I.P.)
- Must have the ability to design and propose complex technologies using our Portfolio
- A proven understanding of IT and Document Management Solutions
- Proven experience in consultative selling & solution sales
- Relationship building
- Strive for good deals, increase long term relationships with clients and display total commitment to customer & service satisfaction
- Increase market coverage & prospecting intensity
- Have decision-making & problem-solving ability, and administrative skills
- Exceptional honesty & integrity
- Target driven
- Completely focused on sales targets with high closing ratios
- Display high levels of drive, energy & enthusiasm
- High level selling experience with exposure within a targeted environment

- Ability to work remotely and report to Head Office
