**JOB- ENROLLED NURSING ASSISTANT (ENA)**

We are seeking to employ an ENA at the Care Centre. The required ENA will promote and deliver quality elderly patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise Carers
- Know and Understand Patient diagnosis
- Do vital signs and observations as instructed by the Study Sr.
- Assist Carers with daily care of Residents/Patients
- Conducting basic duties to meet the requirements of quality patient care
- Ensure that all nursing activities are carried out in compliance with SANC regulations and the Care Centres policies
- Maintenance of Infection Prevention Standards as well as promotion of health and safety
- Maintaining excellent patient and customer care aligned to Life Healthcare standards
- Effective record keeping and General administrative duties

**Requirements**:

- Valid SANC registration as an ENA
- 3years’ experience as an Enrolled Nurse
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Proven experience of elderly care, Alzheimer’s/ Dementia, and Frail care
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.)
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Century City, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- proven: 4 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Nursing Council registration (required)
