**Position Overview**:
The position is for a skilled Technical Lead to manage and coordinate software testing activities such as designing and reviewing automated tests. Ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Lead the team of SDETs in collaborating closely with Developers, Quality Engineering team, System Architect, and other stakeholders to drive continuous testing and deliver high-quality software.

**Responsibilities**:

- Test Automation Design: Design reusable modules and services for SDETs to create test scripts. Oversee script development and conduct internal reviews. Contribute to test plans and collaborate on objectives, scope, and strategies.
- Test Execution and Reporting: Plan, execute, and manage automated tests for software validation. Report test results, defects, and coverage. Analyze failures and assist developers in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Test Environment Setup and Maintenance: Work with DevOps to create and maintain cloud-based test environments (e.g., AWS, Azure). Ensure stability and availability of test environments, data, and infrastructure.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate on enhancing integration and deployment processes. Participate in code reviews to maintain testability and quality.
- Test Data Management: Define and maintain test data sets in collaboration with stakeholders. Design or improve test data management processes to ensure data integrity.
- Test Documentation: Manage and maintain comprehensive test artifacts, including test cases, scripts, and data. Ensure accessibility and up-to-date documentation for the team

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Or Three Year National Diploma Engineering, Information Systems or experience in a related field.
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Manager with strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Excellent Communication and People Management Skills.
- Thorough understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
- Experience with test automation practices.
- Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Safe methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java or object-oriented language.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in the Java, Spring Boot framework, JUnit, REST Assured, Cloud computing (e.g., AWS EC2, S3 bucket, AWS Cloud watch, Azure) and Selenium is essential for this role.
- Solid experience as an SDET or similar role, with a strong focus on testing APIs
- Banking and financial services experience advantageous
- Java certification (OCA or OCP) or similar testing certification is a plus.
