**Well-established professional cleaning and hygiene management **services** and solutions company has a vacancy for a Regulatory, Quality and Technical Lead. The company facilitates across South Africa in a range of industries, including needs of businesses in the food and beverage sectors, commercial, retail and industrial sectors within South Africa and abroad. **The main purpose of the role is to ensure the regulatory compliance and quality consistency of products within the division. This position will be responsible to supply technical support to internal and external customers and ensure all on site trials are planned, conducted, and formally captured and shared. Based in Johannesburg region, Gauteng.**

**Requirements**:

- BSc Chemistry /BEng Chemical/Related.
- Knowledge and experience of GMP, HACCP, ISO9001: 2015, ISO14001:2015 & ISO22000:2018.
- Food Technology or Microbiology training or certification.
- Regulatory or audit related certifications.
- Demonstrable experience working in a Chemical detergent and disinfectant Industry - preferable Agricultural and Food and Beverage industry.

**Duties**:

- Responsible for regulatory affairs and compliance.
- Write, analyse, and edit technical documents to support country-specific regulatory submissions.
- Compile submissions in a format consistent with applicable guidance documents
- To ensure the implementation of all product safety, quality, and regulatory processes based on companies’ requirements, industry standards and customer specific expectations.
- Implement, manage, maintain, oversee, administrate, and improve QMS and EMS requirements for the division.
- Assist and support all other divisions within the organization pertaining to QMS and EMS implementation and/or administration. Ensure that current processes are consistent with established QMS, EMS, and legal standards.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate new procedures and policies as and when required, as per company/divisional requirements.
- Remain informed on latest regulatory and legal requirements relating to products and services and ensure divisional and other central teams are informed on relevant legislative changes, systems, process, and standardization.
- Formulation of new products and existing product optimization ensuring market relevant, increased product offering and improved product effectiveness in conjunction with the product development team.
- Drive new product development compliance and relevance to the market.
- Ensure product analysis, registrations, certifications, and documentation are maintained, renewed and correctly.
- Ensure raw material and finished product compliance to specification and regulations.
- Conduct frequent quality control testing and develop, implement, and maintain additional quality control measures. Perform supplier and manufacturer audits to ensure compliance to product and quality specification.
- Collaborate with management and participate in management reviews to ensure regulator and quality requirements are adequately scoped, captured and implemented.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with regards to all divisional and product related aspects. Drive GMP (good manufacturing practices) and GLP (good laboratory practices) throughout the division.
- Maintaining, driving, supervising, and implementing robust technical standards, systems, and processes.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders relating to queries including but not limited to, complaints, audits, specific requests, projects.
- Customer and Supplier Focus on regular, technically sound, and meaningful interactions to drive an effective partnership.
