**Position Overview**:
The position is for a skilled Test Lead to manage and coordinate software testing activities. Ensure alignment s across the Product delivery stack.You will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Use the automation framework and pre-defined test tools to inspect, analyse, design, develop and implement re-useable automated test assets to quality assure the solution and its architecture to ensure the overall quality of the solution. Good working knowledge of Front End and API automation as well as Performance Testing (NFT). Ensure ongoing planning, organizing, and executing testing efforts, as well as coordinating with cross-functional (POD) teams to drive successful testing cycles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders (Product Owners, Release Train Managers, Delivery Management and Technical Leads) to define test strategies.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases using Test Management tools.
- Oversee the quality and execution of test cases in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as required.
- Drive implementation of test automation strategies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team.
- Monitor and manage the defect lifecycle.
- Prepare test reports of high standard and present to project stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and work closely with the automation team to produce deliverables.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure test environments are properly set up and maintained.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the test process. Introduce best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and prepare test data that accurately represents the system under test.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, and test data. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible to the team.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Or Three Year National Diploma Engineering, Information Systems or experience in a related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager with strong leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using testing tools.
- Experience with test automation practices.
- Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Safe methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
- Banking and financial services experience advantageous
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
