Are you a psychology expert with a strategic mindset? We're seeking a results-driven Psychometric Assessment Manager to optimise selection and development processes. You must have an Honours Degree in Psychology/Industrial Psychology, registration as a Psychometrist and/or Psychologist, and at least 5 years of experience in an assessment center and recruitment environment. Strong strategic thinking, execution skills, customer orientation, innovation, collaboration, personal mastery, and change leadership are essential. **This is strictly a BBBEE role** **Responsibilities**:

- **Oversee the Assessment Strategy**: Lead the entire assessment process, designing and implementing strategies for both selection and development purposes.
- **Align Assessments with Goals**: Ensure assessment practices align with the defined competency frameworks and success profiles for various entrepreneurship stages.
- **Stay Ahead of the Curve**: Conduct continuous research and benchmarking to identify and implement best practices in assessment methods and tools.
- **Source and Develop Assessments**: Secure cost-effective and valid online assessment instruments from various vendors.
- **Manage Resources**: Oversee a budget and lead a team of internal and external Assessment Specialists.
- **Promote Best Practices**: Provide thought leadership and expertise on best practices in entrepreneurial assessment management.
- **Measure and Improve**: Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of assessment outcomes and practices across different stages of the program.
- **Empower and Build Capacity**: Equip HR personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve successful assessments for entrepreneurs.
- **Risk Management**: Mitigate risks related to assessments and ensure clean audit, risk, and compliance reports.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contract psychologists and service providers.
- **Integrated Approach**: Understand the entire assessment value chain and integrate assessments into learning, performance management, and overall beneficiary development.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with Learning and Development Specialists to align development programs with identified needs based on assessment results.
- **Strategic Initiatives**: Manage key strategic initiatives related to assessment and development.

**Requirements**:

- **Essential**:

- Honors Degree in Psychology or Industrial Psychology.
- Registration as a Psychometrist and/or Psychologist with the HPCSA.
- At least 5 years of experience in an assessment center and recruitment environment, preferably in a similar context.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience administering competency and psychometric assessments.
- Experience in advising managers and building HR capacity around assessment governance and practices.
- **Desirable**:

- Master's Degree in Psychology or Industrial Psychology.
