**JOB SUMMARY**

The Digital Field Marketing Center of Excellence is currently recruiting for a SEO Specialist. This role will ensure completion of defined tasks within the SEO programme, for all hotels who participate across Europe, Middle East & Africa. The SEO Specialist will be primarily responsible for the execution of keyword research and content optimization, while supporting, collaborating and guiding on other components as required.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**Education and Experience**
- Diploma in marketing or related field or equivalent certification from higher education advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools such as SEOClarity
- Copywriting experience advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Experience with other aspects of marketing advantageous
- Strong workflow management skills
- Organized, detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive; takes initiative and anticipates needs

**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**

**Managing Work, Projects, and Policies**

Delivers against all aspects of the Digital Marketing program and associated services for hotels and the area.

This includes:
**Search Engine Optimization**
- Support in the management of the SEO programme for EMEA
- Develop understanding of industry, markets and hotels to ensure high relevance in recommendations and optimizations
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
- Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities, using tools such as SEOClarity
- Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success
- Handle technical and strategic questions relating to SEO strategy for hotels
- Manage multiple markets and hotels while executing time-sensitive deliverables
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in organic traffic metrics
- Monitor performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
- Understand technical SEO and how to monitor and improve performance where possible
- Support and collaborate with SEO workgroup, providing recommendations and enhancements to deliverables and programme tactics
- Conduct training sessions as needed with market teams on SEO programme, deliverables and strategy
- Stay abrest of trends and changes globally, and inform and adapt based on these

**Relationships & Processes**
- Develop knowledge and work with Marriott international teams to improve turnaround and SLA’s to hotels.
- Manage relationship with key vendors to drive scalability of efforts and implementation consistency (e.g. Digital HQ, Tripadvisor etc.) and platform development oriented at better tracking/conversion
- Where appropriate, develop, support and implement new processes and track output to improve efficiency for the team.
