**Operations Manager**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION.**

The operations manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. They will ensure efficient and effective use of resources, coordinate various departments, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and profitability.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
q Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.

q Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.

q Coordinate with department heads to align operations and foster collaboration.

q Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal policies.

q Manage and optimize resource allocation, including staff, equipment, and finances.

q Implement quality control measures to maintain consistent service delivery.

q Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

q Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to make informed decisions.

q Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.

q Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching and professional development opportunities.

**Requirements**:
q Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field.

q Proven experience as an operations Manager or in a similar role.

q Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

q Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

q Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

q Proficient in using computer software and tools for operations management.

q Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.

q Ability to multitask and prioritise projects effectively.

q Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
