**Job description**:
To provide reliable, value added and independent feedback and advice to the Board, Executive Committee and other stakeholders (i.e. regulators) over the effectiveness of risk management within the PSG group of companies which includes PSG Wealth, PSG Asset Management, PSG Insure (non-life insurer Western and Short-Term administration platform), PSG Distribution (adviser business for both wealth and insure) and PSG Support (management services functions like technology, human resources, etc.), and to safeguard PSG, its clients, reputation, assets and the interests of stakeholders by identifying and managing all threats to the achievement of PSG’s objectives.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Design, implement and improve risk management strategies and processes within PSG.
- Plan, execute and manage risk analysis and assessments, both financial and operational, against set parameters.
- Organise and draft appropriate risk reporting and executive summaries, internally and externally. - Advise management in identifying and quantifying risks.
- Assist management to mitigate exposure to risks to be aligned with the risk appetite.
- Assist management in establishing risk strategies, policies and internal protocols including effective risk management communication.
- Manage and oversee the risk function across PSG.
- Building relationships with the respective management teams.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Financial service experience
- Stakeholder management experience
- Top academic achiever
- Relevant Post graduate qualification (i.e. high quality energetic CA, actuary or similar)

**Requirements (negotiable)**
- Good understanding of the political and economic environment and its impact on PSG
- Investment management experience
- Financial planning experience
- Risk management qualification and experience
- Knowledge of SAM / Prudential Standards implication
- IT knowledge and skills
