Our client has an exciting opportunity available for a Marketing Intelligence and Insights Manager to be based at Umhlanga, Durban.

As Marketing Intelligence and Insights Manager, you will work with managers across the business to provide strategic insight and direction into a variety of strategies. Your accurate analysis of market trends, conditions, regulations, products, and customers will improve the decision-making process across the organisation, and drive growth based on market data findings and insights. You will be responsible, with the Marketing Analytics Team, to measure and report on the best way to maximise the brand and marketing campaign effectiveness, set KPIs and assist in optimising return on investment (ROI) and driving better results. We are looking for a results-driven individual who pays incredible attention to detail to work with, mentor ,and lead a Team, to build a strategies that support and drive business objectives, ensuring the best use of budgets as well as identifying how best to target customers, ensuring we are continuously improving the customer experience and fully understand customer journey and the impact of our marketing activities.

**Minimum requirements**:
Relevant Degree or Diploma.
4 years Management Experience within Marketing, Data Analytics, E- Commerce
Valid Drivers Licence with own vehicle

SQL experience
Power BI

**RESPONSIBILITY**

**Strategic Planning & Implementation**:
Work closely with the Marketing and Leadership Teams to provide analytical support and review the effectiveness and performance of new and existing marketing activities; including but not limited to Ad campaigns, PR and Comms, Promotions, Sponsorships, Events, Ambassador Programmes, Affiliate Programmes etc. Own Marketing KPI & ROI reports and spend time with marketing stakeholders to ensure these reports meet the Teams evolving data needs, and that they are used to inform changes to plans and strategies improving performance and delivery. Measure, report and analyse customer behaviour and marketing campaign results across products, platforms and other performance segments. Be an expert in customer data and help identify and fill data gaps using internal resources and external agencies (if required). Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Mobile, Product, CRM) to understand the impact of analysis across multiple areas of the business. As a Team, perform valid and reliable market research analysis and utilise online market research and catalog findings to databases Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data (Surveys, Questionnaires, Opinion Polls) and design specific research methods such as questionnaires. Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices

**T**e**chnical Skills and Experience**:
Solid understanding of through-the-line, integrated marketing principles Experience in all aspects of traditional and online/digital marketing, handling and analysing large amounts of data to successfully drive conclusions. Strong understanding of SQL Strong Data skills - must be comfortable analysing large quantities of data to create summaries, develop models, extract insights and provide relevant recommendations. Exceptional project management skills, driving multiple initiatives and roll outs to meet tight deadlines. Exceptional quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights and recommendations from analysis and present proposals to internal stakeholders. Able to work quickly, able to experiment and amend approach based on data analysis and results. Must have expertise in Google Analytics and other web & SEO analytic tools Experience with online advertising platforms such as AdWords, Facebook a plus Strong understanding of digital media, eCommerce business models

Build, manage and coach a diverse, high-performing Marketing Analytics Team
Responsible for setting direction, conducting performance reviews and conducting the day to day people management functions of the team Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
Build long term relationships with Team Members, clients, regulatory bodies, media and other stakeholders
Excellent project management, organizational and time management skills
Work closely with other marketing and business managers to optimise workflows, review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present solutions.
Provide ongoing training to ensure your Team consistently performs above standard
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

**Business Development**:
Use strong analytical abilities to evaluate end-to-end customer experiences across multiple channels as well as customer touch points.
Ensure a thorough understanding of our customers and products and be obsessive about how we communicate with our stakeholders
Working with Development Team to introduce gamification
