**Activities/objectives/tasks (What is done)**
- Review and analyse special inspections and material testing performed by third party.
- All incoming job information are documented and gathered to ensure the clients specification/standards can be achieved
- Document, monitor, track and submit laboratory data/stats
- Document inspections and testing
- Arrange additional /external testing with the third party and keep record of all outgoing and returns
- Assist with internal and external NCR investigations
- Communicate effectively to all role players on quality defects, preventive measures and other process that can increase productively and quality controls
- Document control as per ISO standards
- Analyse the root cause of quality deficiency and implement/create corrective action/or approach

**Minimum Qualifications**

Minimum qualification Grade 12 with a Diploma in Metallurgy / Quality

**Minimum Experience (Practical on the job experience)**

Minimum experience of 3 years in similar role

**Preferred Experience**

Experience in the foundry/construction /mining environment

Proven experience in knowing the difference and specs of various scrap material

Extended knowledge of material being used in a foundry or steel construction
