Innovation Manager is responsible for driving change, improving processes, and enhancing the overall competitiveness of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker, an adept problem solver, and someone who can collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to bring groundbreaking ideas to fruition.

**DESCRIPTION**

**1. Idea Generation and Evaluation**:

- Encourage and facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
- Evaluate and prioritize ideas based on feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with organizational goals.

**2. Strategic Planning**:

- Develop and implement an innovation strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovation into overall business planning.

**3. Project Management**:

- Oversee the end-to-end process of innovation projects from conception to implementation.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure projects are executed within budget and timelines.

**4. Research and Analysis**:

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decision-making.

**5. Research and Development Management**:

- Lead and oversee end-to-end R&D projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct market research, feasibility studies, and technology assessments.
- Drive the development of new products, services, and processes through effective R&D methodologies.

**6. Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with different departments.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge-sharing among team members to enhance innovation capabilities.

**7. Risk Management**:

- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with innovation projects.
- Develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks and ensure project success.

**8. Performance Metrics**:

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of innovation initiatives.
- Regularly evaluate and report on the performance of innovation projects.

**9. Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
- Build relationships with industry partners, startups, and other external entities to enhance innovation opportunities.

**10. Technology Transfer**:

- Facilitate the smooth transition of successful R&D projects into scalable, marketable products or services.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure effective integration of innovations into the product roadmap.

**To be considered for this role, you must have**:

- Experience in agricultural training and development sector;
- Project management experience
- Proficiency in the MS Office or 365 suite;
- Good Communication Skills, written and verbal.

**PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in innovation management or a similar role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
