Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in automation testing and a strong proficiency using Selenium or PlayWright. They will be responsible for guiding other team members to improve testing, test automation, and quality.

The successful candidate will work on large testing projects and crucial product areas, using their experience to drive product releases from a test and overall quality perspective. They will independently write and execute integration and E2E tests, leveraging the Test Pyramid and providing guidance when determining which tests are candidates for Unit, Integration, and E2E tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and execute integration and E2E tests.
  • Lead initiatives for incorporating continuous delivery.
  • Assist in building and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks.
  • Provide detailed estimates on both the planning and testing stages.
