Role Description

The Global Data Migrations Team within FNZ is accountable for managing the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for all Migration projects. In this newly created opportunity, you will join the Migrations Test Team and, working closely with the Migration Project Manager and Analyst-Developer Lead, assume responsibility for managing the migration testing for your assigned project(s), ensuring that migration testing activities are delivered to a superior quality standard.

In addition, working with your Migration Test Manager and Migration Test Lead colleagues across the globe, you will form part of the Migration Test Management forum, helping to drive out testing process and technical improvements and will assist the ongoing recruitment, growth and management of the global team.

Role Responsibilities- Work with developers, testers and analysts to implement and execute strategies that ensure Migration Mapping and routines satisfies the business requirements and is delivered to the highest quality.- Work with the Test Manager and Senior Test Analyst to provide oversight and coaching to Test Analysts.- Discuss, understand and document testing requirements with internal stakeholders.- Ensure compliance against FNZ processes.- Support the Test Manager in the planning, documenting and managing of Migration test activities.- Generate clear and concise summaries on defects, communicate these defects to developers as well as support the Test Manager and Project Manager with the defect resolution process.- Work with the Test Manager and Senior Test Analyst to proactively develop, document and maintain internal testing processes and procedures.- Experienced in a Test Lead/Test Manager position- Line (Personnel) Management and Performance Management experience- Extensive knowledge and experience of RDBMS and data-modelling- Expert querying skills and experience using SQL.- Experience in the use of a variety of Testing Tools.- System test experience in a fast moving environment- Experience and strong working knowledge of the Testing Lifecycle and testing process.- Demonstrable level of English; written & verbal communication.- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.- The ability to work independently and in small teams, partner effectively cross-group, and manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently.- Passion for testing and advanced testing as an engineering discipline- Strong spirit of innovation, self-starter, independent, and with ability to come up with comprehensive test cases.- Effective team player with ability to build strong working relationships and motivate others.- ISTQB Foundation Qualified - Preferred.
