Business Support Officer

**Responsibilities include**:
- Generating and supporting sales reports via the system
- Onboarding new private clients
- Supporting incoming and outgoing mails / calls as required
- Updating client information where required
- Understanding the products, sales information, AML, supporting IFAs
- Obtaining valuations from 3rd parties
- Undertaking the complaint queries record, manage and escalate
- Responsible for actioning Terms of Business and ensuring the standard procedure has taken place
- Responsible for processing change of advisor forms
- Provide a high-quality administrative support service as required
- Undertaking housekeeping of electronic data
- Providing sales support materials to IFAs and BDMs
- Handling ad-hoc benefits requests
- Opening investment accounts
- Assisting with outstanding customer due diligence
**Requirements and Competencies**:
- Financial services background advantageous
- Min 2 years exp. in paraplanning and/or offshore on-boarding in a financial firm
- A tertiary qualification or relevant client services qualification advantageous
- Strong organisational, time management and communication skills
- Client orientated with a strong sense of what service entails
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Maintain good client relationships and delivering good service
- High level of commitment and positive attitude
- Exercise the highest ethical and safety standards when conducting your work, particularly where other people are involved
- Be energetic in your approach to performing a service to the company
- Present yourself professionally to fellow employees and clients of the company
- Interact respectfully with all persons in the business and all other persons dealing with the company in whatever form
