Homecare Innovation & Category Growth Manager

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
JOB SUMMARY- In partnership with two Senior Marketing Managers, this incumbent will lead the development of the Home care category strategy and brand marketing plans, in particular to build the 18 - 24 month plan- Co-ordinate innovation optimisation and deployment, ensuring key stakeholders are considered and included.- Working alongside brand managers, media, customer, shopper and consumers, drive market development for key categories into actionable plans.- Understand and uncover root issues and opportunities across the 6Ps- Work with the platform team and brand community to influence and shape brand strategy, and integrate these into local brand plans and 8Q rolling plans- Develop clear Jobs to be done (JTBD) and activity schedules arising from these JTBD- Lead the development and execution of activity plans on time, in full- Develop cost effective annual activity plans to execute the strategies and targets agreed- Lead cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of launch plans and post launch evaluation- Manage the brand budget to ensure spend is in line with agreements- Constantly review brand and initiative performance for ongoing improvement- People management and development - develop the capabilities and business /marketing skills of the ABMs’

Key Relationships- CD, SC, CMI, R&D, Finance Business Partners; Global Brand Teams and Global Brand Communities; BG Lead and Africa Marketing Director

KEY REQUIREMENTS- Relevant Degree or equivalent- 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience, at management level- Experience in managing a complex portfolio (e.g. sub-brands, formats, local/global networks)- Experience in Strategy development and execution- Key Skills and competencies needed for the role- Strong business / financial acumen- Consumer and customer focus - curiosity, ability to uncover relevant insights and translate these into actionable plans- Ability to assess business challenges, articulate these, and drive right levels of influence across all stakeholders and cross functional teams- Growth mindset - a winning, competitive mindset
