An exciting opportunity exists for a **CREDIT CONTROLLER **at **AVI LIMITED Financial Shared Services** in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the full credit control function. Managing the insurance requirements for customers in the relevant portfolio. Activities include (but not limited to) collections of outstanding monies; reconciliation of accounts; resolving queries; customer visits; statement sending and engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Credit vetting within the delegation of authority and order release within the delegation of authority.

**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:
**Account Management**
- Payments of debtors accounts - on time
- Journals for discounts and rebates
- Reconciliations of the debtors accounts
- Statements - prints monthly customer statements
- New accounts - creation of new customers on the SAP system (workflows)
- Master file maintenance
- Communicating with BU’s.
- Customer visits to be executed to ensure good working relationships.
- Query resolution - Claims etc.
- Insurance Management within mandate
- Order Release within mandate

**Customer visits / insights**
- Regular visits of customers to resolve queries
- Regular visits of customers to build relationships
- KYC (Know Your Customer) - Legal entity, shareholding etc.

**Reporting and Analysis**
- Report to Credit Manager around Monthly overdue accounts
- Report to Credit Manager around Monthly overdues
- Be able to analyze issues in the portfolio and make recommendations on possible remedies

**Administration**
- Filing
- Posting, Fax, E-mail
- Audit facilitation
- Customer communication
- Business Unit communication

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Exposure to financial systems: preferably SAP (Accounts Receivable);
- Minimum 3 years of exposure in a similar position in the FMCG industry
- SAP HR Module
- Dealing with Credit Insurance an advantage
- Credit Vetting experience an advantage

**Qualifications**:

- Matric/Grade 12
- Credit Management/Financial Management Diploma/Degree or studying towards one
- Credit Management Qualification (1,2 &3) (ICM or CPUT)

**Additional Requirements**

- Power BI exposure - An advantage
