Job Title: Payroll Clerk

Department: Human Resources

Position Reports too: Payroll Specialist

Location/Area Johannesburg Alrode Alberton

**RESPONSIBILTIES**

Ensuring that employees are paid accurately and timeous according to the hours worked. Check input before capturing.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Processing payroll data in payroll on a weekly basi,s according to the payroll standard operating procedures.
- Preparation of UIF Declarations.
- Generating and Submission of IRP5’s at Tax year end and bi-annual tax submission to SARS for wages.
- Controlling of Leave records and balances, Leave adjustments via ESS (Employee Self Service).
- Generating STATS SA report on a quarterly basis.
- Preparing EMP201 for wages on Excel for E-Filing.
- Assist in preparing for the submission of the EMP501 Submission Interim and End of Tax Year.
- Bookkeeping: Prepare monthly journals wages
- Reconciliation of wages-related general ledger accounts.
- Weekly Head Count Report.
- Preparing monthly payroll report to the Finance Department timeously
- 3rd party payments recons

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Education Level**: Payroll Diploma or Certificates
- **Language Requirements**: English and African Laguages speaking

**EXPERIENCE**
- **Years of Experience**: 3-5 years of working experience in Manufacturing environment/Automotive Industry advantagious

**KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**
- Accsys PeopleWare
- SAGE300
- Time and Attendance system/clocking system (Preferably NeTrec)
- Intermediate or Advanced Excel
- Main Agreement (Metal Industries prefered)
