- Join us as a Control Room Operato r where you will be responsible to assist the Planned Maintenance Department in the coordination, facilitation and management of the maintenance management programme for Mines and Plants for all Engineering urgent maintenance work.

**Job Description**:

- Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Ensure that the activities in the Control Room area aligns with the requirements of the whole PM process
- Assist Engineering employees to maintain equipment in Control Room area
- Assist during breakdowns and emergencies by processing urgent work orders and procurement of required spares Supports a housekeeping program
- Facilitates or manages a tool store function
- Liaises with Foremen to confirm that all technical manuals and documents are up to date
- Assist in ensuring that the SAP PM, MM and CO systems are properly supported
- Administer the critical spare parts lists
- Actively support the codification and bills of material initiatives
- Actively participate in spares and material acquisition
- Compile an accurate shift report at the end of each shift
- Assist in ensuring that all work is controlled by works orders and information loops are closed

**This role is at a C1 level reporting to the Planned Maintenance Coordinator**

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics & Science

**Experience**
- 1 year experience in the Planned Maintenance office
- Experienced in using a computerized planned maintenance system
- Control Room experience would be advantageous
- Operating Ambulance/ underground LDV **(Advantageous)**
