Our mine, situated in the Limpopo Province about 60 kilometers from Lydenburg and 40 kilometers from Burgersfort, and is a world-class producer of Chrome Ore.

The successful applicant will report to the Senior Operator - Process or nominee.

**MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12/Standard 10 Certificate.

**EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to)**:

- 6 months exposure to relevant production process in a plant / operations environment.

**DUTIES (including but not limited to)**:
- Ensure effective and efficient operation of the total production process making use of manual operation as and when necessary while maintaining process conditions and monitoring production parameters.- Operate and control various types of equipment (HM Drum, conveyors, vibrating screens, pumps etc.) and machinery. Conduct pre-shift inspection of equipment, machine parts, and/or components of the production line to ensure production flow according to standards within prescribed processes and procedures. Continuously observe / monitor component performance against standards to identify any sub performance / non-conformance or deviations, and report to Supervisor. Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance. Hourly inspections to make sure all equipment is functional.- Adhere to planned maintenance / production schedules to assist in achieving production throughput. Ensure optimised process flow. Identify constraints and/or troubleshoot operational deviations and communicate to supervisor or line manager. Ensure correct product grade by following grade assurance and control processes.- Perform lock-out procedure whenever required.- Perform housekeeping duties whenever required.
