**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Trainee/Associate to join our audit team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to two years of experience in auditing or a related field who are eager to build a career in audit and assurance services. As an Audit Trainee/Associate, you will be an integral part of our audit team, gaining hands-on experience and working with a diverse range of clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the supervision of senior auditors.
- Conduct audit tests and procedures, including vouching, verification, and analytical reviews.
- Evaluate and document internal controls, processes, and systems.
- Gather and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and areas of risk.
- Prepare working papers and audit documentation in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior auditors and clients.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of audit assignments.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your technical and professional skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
- Willingness to pursue professional certifications (e.g., CA(SA)).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with audit software and tools.
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other accounting standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
