**Minimum Requirements**:

- Be a South African citizen
- CA(SA)
- Registered SAICA Trainee Assessor
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Technically competent i.e. knowledge of accounting and auditing statements, tax and other relevant Acts.
- High stress threshold, effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties

At least one to two year post article experience with large IFRS groups and preferably Listed caudit experience.
Must enrol for Registered Auditor accreditation and completing the POA within 6 months of employment.

- Managing Assignment Completion: Oversee the completion of audit assignments, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Audit Planning and Timing: Develop and manage audit plans and schedules to ensure timely execution of audit engagements.
- Audit Team Supervision: Monitor the audit team's daily progress, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed as per plan.
- Audit Review and Finalization: Conduct thorough reviews and finalization of audit reports to maintain high-quality standards.
- Client and Staff Portfolio Management: Maintain and manage portfolios for both clients and staff, ensuring smooth operations and effective relationship management.
- Client Consultation and Queries: Address client inquiries and consult extensively with partners and the Tax department to provide comprehensive solutions.

**Ad Hoc Duties**:

- Audit Committee Support: Provide essential support and insights to the audit committee.
- Risk Profiling and Internal Controls Review: Conduct risk profiling, review internal controls, and perform other ad hoc procedures such as due diligence as required.

**Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Productivity Monitoring: Review timesheets and job progress to monitor the productivity of Trainee Accountants.
- Budget Preparation and Client Agreement: Prepare budgets for assignments and obtain client agreement on financial plans.
- Cost Monitoring and Billing Assistance: Track costs on audit assignments and assist partners with cost management and billing issues.
- Fee Sheet Preparation: Prepare and manage fee sheets for audit assignments.
- Performance Appraisals: Conduct performance reviews and development sessions for Trainee Accountants, advising on training needs.
