**Overview - Job Purpose**:
**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.**

A Grade 12, and relevant tertiary Qualification in HR Payroll Administration/Clerk.

3+ years’ proven experience in Payroll.

Computer literacy including advanced proficiency in Microsoft office and standard accounting software packages.

Proficiency in SAGE VIP/SAGE 300/SAGE payroll and SYSPRO system.

Technical and numeracy proficiency to calculate employees' work hours and corresponding salaries.

Having a Financial Accounting background.

Understand payroll legislation and processes i.e. tax.

Sound knowledge of BCEA, UIF, SDL and PAYE.

Problem-solving and detail-oriented skills to prepare payroll.

Attentiveness to details to avoid errors and disputes.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong planning and ability to multitask and prioritise.

Strong ability to work under pressure. Strong people’s skills, a team player.

Must maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects and be comfortable with flexible working schedule to meet the needs of the Company.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:
**Data Collection and Verification**:
Ensuring accuracy and completeness by collecting and validating:

- weekly hour, Clock outs and Over checks.
- Verify and reconcile attendance records, sick leave, and vacation accruals.
- Follow up on Leaves not approved.
- Manual hours.

**Communication and Customer Service**:
Adress payroll related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.

**Records Maintenance**:
Maintain accurate and up -to-date payroll records for all employees.

Generate and distribute payroll reports to relevant employees. (UI-19, Salary schedule, UIF Queries).

**Compliance**:
Assist in COIDA/Labour inspections**.**

**Administration**:
Responsible for capturing new employees and terminating employees on SAGE.

Administer employee benefits related to payroll, such as Provident Fund**.**

UIF declaration submissions.

UI-19 and salary schedule preparations.

Ensure that all documents are available for Provident fund claims**.**

Coordinate with benefits providers and ensure accurate deductions.

**Fleets Reports**:

- Vehicle Maintenance
- Company credit cards capturing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R6 500,00 - R15 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodmead, Gauteng: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)
