RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for:

- Management of TuksSport database systems including the club’s membership system;
- Development of effective administrative systems and processes for TuksSport;
- Collation of information, queries, and complaints received at the Client Services Desk;
- Providing administrative management support to the Deputy Director of Enterprise and Services including diary management, secretarial support, and meeting preparations.
- Office and financial administration of the Client Services Department including filing, ordering office supplies, IT equipment, and inventory.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Diploma in Sport Management or General Management or Business administration
- At least two to four years of experience in the following areas:

- Office and business administration
- Database management and administration

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):

- Advanced knowledge of database management;
- Advanced knowledge of project management principles, techniques and tools;
- Advanced ability to develop and maintain record-keeping systems and procedures;
- Good communication skills (verbal and written);

ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:

- Certificate in Information or Database Management
- Administration work in a sporting environment

The annual remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent’s level of appointment, as determined by UP policy guidelines. UP subscribes to the BESTMED and UMVUZO medical aid schemes and contributes 50% of the applicable monthly premium.
