**A** **reputable financial services group** has an exciting opportunity available for a professional and skilled **Website Officer.**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Performance Areas**:

- **_Produce (including writing), manage, and publish content _**_for the _**_group’s website and intranet_**_._
- **_Develop a framework _**_for the _**_website and intranet_**_._
- **_Create and manage the content plan _**_for the website and intranet._
- **_Oversee and ensure consistency of design, style, corporate identity, and branding _**_on the intranet._
- **_Produce summaries (blurbs) for the website _**_when _**_publishing media releases, speeches, publications_**_, _**_reports_**_._
- **_Produce, publish, and update content_**_ on the groups’ website and intranet._
- **_Develop a seamless user experience (UX) navigation_**_._
- **_Ensure content (videos, infographics, animation) is linked to other digital_**_ _**_channels_**_ such as _**_YouTube_**_, _**_Twitter_**_, _**_LinkedIn_**_, and _**_Facebook_**_._
- **_Utilise appropriate web design and search engine analytical tools_**_ to _**_maximise traffic to the website_**_._
- **_Update the RSS feed database annually_**_._
- **_Manage the website and intranet libraries_**_._
- **_Monitor, evaluate and report_**_ on the _**_performance of the website_**_._
- **_Stay updated on technological and software developments_**_ related to websites and intranets._
- **_Work closely with the group’s Business Solutions and Technology Department_**_._
- **_Build and maintain relationships_**_ with _**_key stakeholders_**_._

**Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- A **completed National Diploma (NQF 6)** in **Web Design and Content Management**/**New** **Media**/**Communications** or an equivalent qualification.
- A **minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience** in a **Communications**, **Media**, or **Multimedia Environment**.
- **Exposure to one or a combination** of the following - **Website Design on an Adobe Experience Manager** **(AEM)** and/or **SharePoint Platform**, **Website Analytics** and **Web Content Publishing.
