**Role Overview**

DigiBlu, a company of BP3 is looking to hire a Principal Consultant. The Principal Consultant is responsible for leading client engagements though the end-to-end automation lifecycle. Central to this is consulting with the client to clearly understand their needs, and to provide possible solutions for the client’s consideration. They develop automation strategies, design to-be operating models, ensure business readiness and facilitate change management and the adoption and integration of digital workers within target operating models.

**Travel**

**Requirements**:
1. Perform a **sales, pre-sales** **and account management** function within the firm:

- Contract writing
- Proposal writing
- Assist Account Executive in creating a pipeline at a client
- Meet with clients to establish goals and timelines
- Drives on-sell opportunities
- Sales support across the sales lifecycle.

2. Responsible for the **upfront shaping, consulting and advisory functions that form part of the programme and project definition stage (Define Stage) **of the automation lifecycle:

- Understands client’s vision and strategy and consults on their automation agenda
- Determines each client’s needs and expectations
- Has the soft and technical skills and knowledge to understand their clients’ requirements and to drive effective solutions
- Identifies critical aspects of success for the programme.
- Conceptualizes the solution, and helps to implement digital workers into their operation.
- Develops To-Be operating model designs enabled by Intelligent Automation
- Evaluates the short
- and long-term effectiveness of the implemented solution and make adjustments as necessary.
- Develops an automation roadmap that addresses the client’s needs
- Develops change and operational readiness assessments with client business team and IT to prepare for a digital workforce augmenting their operating model.

3. Responsible for **programme management of the client account**:

- Creates and tracks the projects and resources on Kantata.
- Guides the analyst and engineer teams through every detail of the project.
- Takes accountability for delivering successful projects, either by a Consulting or Delivery team or on their own.
- Oversees automation implementation.
- Ensures the project meets all deadlines within budget and takes responsibility for the quality of the results and the profitability.
- Once the implementation is complete, ensures a smooth transition for the client and evaluates the effectiveness of the changes over time.

4. Consult on specific **technologies offered** by the firm:

- Be able to make the best use of the entire firm’s knowledge and resources to consult on an automation programme for a client.
- Maintain and evolve the DigiBlu knowledge base and methodology.
- Provide training to internal and client teams on the methodology.

**Education and Experience**
- 10 years + of relevant work experience.
- MBA Degree would be advantageous.
- Experience in IT, specifically Automation would be advantageous.
- Consulting experience advantageous.
- Experience in the operational domains of services industries (e.g. Financial, Retail, Health, Telco, etc) and / or support services (Finance, IT, HR, etc).
