**Vacancy: Head of Industrialization**

**Purpose of the Job**

To support the organization through the management of the set of Industrial FMS team ,Industrialization of production, Capex investments, Facilities Management Services, Industrial Maintenance Management, and Security Management

**Network & Links**

Manufacturing, EHS, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, IT and the Suppliers/Line Integrators.

**Key responsibilities include the following**:

- implementation of product, parts, and process changes as per Baseline implementation plan and/or Redesign to cost plan
- Overseeing all PME documentation (e.g. Work instructions, Task Sequences, Lifting Plans, PFMEA, QMS) correlated with current operations & updated both on the manufacturing line as well as in archive
- Implementation of the QMS changes
- Implementation of jig & equipment changes/upgrades to drive continuous improvements and productivity enhancements and/or method time reductions
- Overseeing of APSYS initiatives and maintaining ongoing focus on improving processes
- Management of Special Processes, maintenance of SP documentation, archives, training, audits, employee ongoing assessments & training
- Special events security management & deployment including security escorting
- Environmental Health and Safety management and compliance with the Code of Practice as laid down in the Environmental Health and Safety Act.
- Follow the appropriate safe working practices to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner and within Statutory Compliance.
- Assist with emergency procedures for area and fire evacuations.
- Liaising with key internal & external stakeholders.
- To support Gibela in safeguarding and protecting the welfare of all employees.
- To comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, confidentiality and data protection, reporting concerns to an appropriate person.
- To maintain and develop own professional knowledge and awareness.
- To undertake any other such duties or general tasks and hours of work as may reasonably be required and any other responsibilities, which may from time to time, be delegated by your Executive.
- Oversight & Management of major project executions in conjunction with external parties such as EPCM
- Overseeing of Facilities department and its operations
- Overseeing Maintenance Operations
- Identification of product optimization opportunities, coordination of product & process assessments with the view to drive optimization via the Change Management process (CCB) in the Project Team
- Review proposals for product changes from the Engineering team/Project Team and coordinatization of reviews/assessments in conjunction with Operations cross-functional team (CFT comprising of PME, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, Engineering)Special events security management & deployment including security escorting
- Environmental Health and Safety management and compliance with the Code of Practice as laid

**Requirements**:

- Engineering Degree or Honours, MBA (advantageous but not a prerequisite)
- GCC (advantageous but not a prerequisite)
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in rail and/or allied heavy engineering industry ideally in Engineering & large site management
- Strategy formulation and compilation
- Business case formulation and presentation at Exco level
- Experience in making strategic and operational decisions
- Experience in Environmental Health and Safety practices
- Experience of working in a high-pressure operational environment where compliance and deadline achievement are
- Experience of working in a supplier-customer inter-facing role
- Time management skills and ability to priorities
