Our Client is presently the largest privately owned wine and spirits merchant in South Africa.

They have a newly created opportunity available for a Recruitment & Communications Manager to be based at their Head Office in Cape Town.

In line with the HR strategy, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the recruitment function in the organisation, including role profiling and competency-based interviewing. In addition, responsibilities include the management, execution and maintenance of comprehensive internal and external company communication strategies

QUALIFICATION Relevant degree or diploma

EXPERIENCE At least 5 but preferably 8 or more years of relevant experience

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Sound knowledge of all HR recruitment processes including recruitment and selection
- Experience in role profiling, KPI formulation and related HR practices
- Corporate PR management through website and social media platforms
- Intranet functionality and optimisation
- Ability to activate and manage internal and external events
- Confident communicator and presenter with highly developed drafting skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to multi-task
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to build relationships

Excellent computer literacy skills and an understanding of IT platforms

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development of the companys external corporate PR strategy and internal communication strategy and lead its implementation (Website, LinkedIn portal, In Good Spirit, intranet, bulletins and other appropriate media)
- Lead the execution of the companys recruitment strategy
- Monitoring the probationary periods of new recruits through line manager engagement
- Development of the companys Intranet for internal communications and document access
- Maintenance of all role profiles, competency-based interviews, advertisements and other recruitment related documentation
- Ensure PDR goals and KPIs are set up and maintained
- Development of PR material for employee engagement programmes
- Introduce innovative initiatives that support the Attract pillar of the HR strategy and promote employee engagement
- Inspire and drive change in the business in line with our company purpose and strategic priorities - Build and maintain excellent relationships with line managers, recruiters and service providers
- Plan and assist with the execution of the companys purpose and corporate social responsibility programm
