POST TITLE SENIOR COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Incumbent will oversee the entire tender / proposal / request for information (bid) process from start to finish. The person will also be responsible to coordinate with various departments and stakeholders, reviewing documentation, and maintaining records to support the bid process. The incumbent will ensure compliance with regulations and company standards while supporting the business in obtaining new service providers and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
- Bid Coordination**:Bid Preparation; Bid Publication; Bid Compulsory Meetings; Bid Evaluation; Bid Award; Bid Documentation and Compliance;
- Contract Administration;
- Preferential Procurement;
- Departmental Support and Communication.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Relevant Bachelors/BTech (NQF 7) in Supply Chain Management, Business Law or related field;
- 4 Years proven experience in bid management, bid coordination, buyer or related role.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):

- Exhibit strong attention to detail in all administrative tasks;
- Conduct investigations and provide analytical insights as required;
- Utilize computer systems and software effectively for documentation and reporting;
- B-BBEE regulations;
- Business law;
- UP Policies & Procedures;
- Confidentiality;
- Ability to convey information clearly and concisely to groups or individuals either verbally or in writing to ensure that they understand the information and the message;
- Ability to firmly adhere to codes of conduct and ethical principles.

ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES
- Certificates in bid management, procurement, or related areas can also be beneficial;
- 4 Years:

- Experience in Facilities Management (e.g., construction, IT, engineering)
- Financial accounting in an institute of higher education;
- Experience with B-BBEE and VAT regulations;
- Experience with management software(PeopleSoft, UP Tender System, UP Agreements System) and Microsoft Office Suite (Share Drive, Teams, Gmail).
