**Junior Draughtsman, Catering Services, Gauteng R20 000 CTC**

**Position Overview**:
As a Junior Draughtsman for our catering company, you will play a crucial role in the design and planning of catering setups for various events. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a passion for design, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. You will work closely with the design team to bring creative and functional catering setups to life.

**Responsibilities**:
**To do drawings of manufactured products**:
**- Working knowledge of SolidWorks - Essential**

**- Working knowledge of Revit - Essential**
- Must have Sheetmetal design experience with a manufacturing background
- Industrial kitchen design would be beneficial

To do Estimations

Design Development:
Assist in the development of detailed design drawings for catering setups based on client requirements.

Collaborate with senior draughtsman to translate conceptual designs into practical and executable plans.

Ensure designs adhere to safety and compliance standards.

AutoCAD Drafting:
Utilize AutoCAD software to create accurate and detailed drawings.

Prepare technical drawings, floor plans, and schematics for catering setups.

Make revisions to drawings as necessary based on feedback and project requirements.

Material Specifications:
Assist in the selection and specification of materials required for catering setups.

Work closely with the procurement team to ensure availability and suitability of chosen materials.

Collaboration with Project Team:
Collaborate with the project management and catering teams to understand project requirements.

Attend project meetings to discuss design concepts, changes, and updates.

Quality Control:
Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Work with the design team to address any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.

Documentation and Filing:
Maintain an organized system for storing and filing design documents.

Ensure that all drawings and related documentation are up-to-date and easily accessible.

Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Architecture, Design, or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD software.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

Basic understanding of construction and design principles.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Requirements**:
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Creative mindset with an interest in event and catering design.

Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior team members.
