Our client, a leading name in the steel service industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Draughtsperson/Estimator to join their dynamic team.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Steel Service Centre environment.
- Proficient in CAD software for draughting (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for precise estimations.
- In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Draughting:

- Create accurate and detailed technical drawings for steel fabrication projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret design specifications.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and project requirements.

Estimation:

- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
- Analyse project documentation and specifications to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to provide accurate project quotations.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and production staff.
- Communicate effectively to resolve design or estimation queries and ensure project alignment.

Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and estimates to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
- Implement best practices for quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
