We are looking for a driven Travel Sales Consultant to join our Adventure Sales Team in Cape Town. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with great travel experience. We offer in-depth training and support to ensure you meet your OTE.

As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will be a member of our sales team answering client enquiries, creating bookings, and delivering brilliant customer service, with the aim of delivering commercial growth in line with business objectives. This will be achieved by following a dedicated sales framework, service and quality assurance and keeping commercial targets at the forefront of what you do. You will work with the rest of the sales team, as well as other key departments within the business, to achieve booking targets and consistently achieve stretch key performance indicators. Your focus will be on excellent customer service, proactive pipeline lead management and should be driven by the consistent achievement of targets.

**What you will be doing**:

- Developing, growing, and leading your own sales pipeline by delivering excellent customer service to repeat bookers and new enquiries. Establishing rapport and identifying our customers needs are key objectives to closing the sale
- Follow up on incoming and existing enquiries with our customers, primarily over the phone, in order to have detailed conversations to establish their travel preferences and build important relationships. Prepare detailed, accurate, and high-quality itineraries
- Working to KPI’s and achieving sales targets
- Use a variety of sales techniques and communication methods to convert bookings.
- Administration duties required to complete bookings and itinerary
- Offering outstanding customer service at all times

**What we are looking for**:

- Strong sales background with experience and success in a previous sales position from the travel industry
- The highest level of tenacity, curiosity, and strong work ethic
- Strong geographical knowledge and a passion for adventure travel
- Used to working to and achieving sales targets
- Excellent listening/communication skills and the ability to bring travel experiences to life and build trust
- Genuine passion for excellence in customer care
- Likes to get their sleeves rolled up and be involved
- Knowledge of Amadeus / Galileo GDS system useful
