A luxury hotel in Cape Town’s CBD is seeking a skilled and qualified **Senior Plumber** to join their maintenance team. As a Senior Plumber, you will ensure that the hotel’s plumbing systems are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring guest comfort and safety at all times. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.
- Address plumbing-related issues promptly to ensure mínimal disruption to hotel operations and guest comfort.
- Install, repair, and maintain all plumbing fixtures and fittings such as toilets, faucets, showers, and water heaters.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to plumbing systems and water usage.
- Manage and supervise the work of junior plumbers and external contractors, ensuring quality workmanship.
- Respond quickly to emergency plumbing situations, providing efficient solutions to prevent further damage.
- Maintain an inventory of plumbing supplies and ensure that tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure effective communication and coordination across departments.
- Provide regular reports on maintenance work, repairs, and project progress to the maintenance manager.
- Ensure compliance with the hotel’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and service.

**Requirements**:

- Must be in Cape Town to attend face-to-face interviews.
- South African citizen with Matric (Grade 12) and a recognized plumbing qualification (Trade Test Certificate or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a senior plumbing role, preferably in a hotel, or resort.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plumbing schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to manage a team and supervise contractors when required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the operational needs of the hotel.
