**What will you do?**What will make you successful in this role?**
- The main responsibilities will entail executing the financial aspects of reinsurance claims, including the processing of reinsurance claims transactions, preparing claim reports and settling/recovering outstanding balances.**Key responsibilities**:

- Accurate loading of all claims and reserves
- Claims queries with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Reviewing of reserves and estimates bi-annually, based on the reserve report and renewal packs
- Timely payment of claims
- Monthly claims reporting (adhoc)

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Matric (minimum) with accounting or tertiary qualification with accounting as a module
- Insurance related qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum of 1-2 years claims, finance or underwriting experience (essential)
