Kendrick Recruitment is proud to present an exceptional opportunity for a Reception Manager for a renowned luxury safari destination. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the team and oversee front-of-house operations at this prestigious lodge.

**Position Overview**:
As the Reception Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will lead a team of dedicated reception staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest levels of service and hospitality are maintained at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Oversee all aspects of reception operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and concierge services.
Provide leadership and direction to the reception team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Ensure effective communication between reception, housekeeping, and other lodge departments to coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and special requests.
Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
Manage reservation systems and property management systems (PMS), ensuring accurate guest information and efficient room allocation.
Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Monitor and control costs related to reception operations, including staffing, supplies, and amenities.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times, leading by example for the reception team.

**Requirements**:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury lodge or hotel setting.
Degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is an added benefit.
Excellent communication skills in English, with additional languages considered advantageous.
Strong focus on providing exceptional customer service and resolving guest issues.
Proven organisational and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Familiarity with reservation and property management systems (PMS), with training provided for specific systems used by the lodge.
Basic accounting knowledge for cost control purposes.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Salary and Benefits**:
Competitive salary ranging from R180,000 to R240,000 CTC per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Two-bedroom accommodation provided.
Meals while on duty.
Uniforms.
Work 3 weeks on and 1 week off, with 15 days of annual leave.
