The Africa music team is involved in the lifecycle of music, and musicians, on TikTok. This includes the discovery and promotion of music trends, driving music campaigns, as well as onboarding and creating relationships with musicians, record labels, and music distributors.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage a portfolio of PGC/PUGC accounts for music content vertical
- Capture the music content trend within General Popular Categories (e.g Travel, Tech, vlog), and lead the topic directions in short-video format.
- Establish strategic music content partnership with the right brand awareness and positioning according to the product strategy in order to drive music content growth.
- Responsible for day-to-day tasks such as music partnership operations and activations, artist and label relationship maintenance, and educational material preparation.
- Resolving issues with and between music content creators such as inappropriate or misleading content, or abuse of giveaways.
- Responsible for the operational performance of music content creators, and assisting their content performance on a daily basis.
- Work with cross functions to co-create local campaigns and push forward for execution.
**Qualifications**:
- Highly experienced working in the music industry with labels, artists and music partners.

- Experience with business development and content development business. Understanding of local music content partner ecosystem industry, and local pop culture.
- Account management skills and time flexibility.
- Ownership to cover the whole partner and creator acquisition chain (pitch, acquisition, retention, partnership)
- Ability to execute strategies and plans according to management planning
- Strong communication and time-management skills. creative, and energetic.
