**Overall purpose of the job**:
ADT South Africa seeks to attract driven, customer-centric solution sales representatives to grow the business by bridging the gap between customer needs and product and service solutions. High emphasis is placed on relationship building and execution with accountability for meeting targets as well as driving revenue. Entrepreneurial flair and strategic sales proposition experience will be required for success in this role.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Identify and develop sales opportunities, incorporating extensive cold calling activities, in order to maximise growth within a specific market
- To design a suitable security solution to meet the client’s needs as well as advise the client accordingly
- Understand and sell the unique value proposition that ADT offers its customers
- Develop a deep understanding of the strategic direction the company is moving towards and sell the vision to the customer
- Be professional through all stages of the selling processes, including but not limited to
- Timeous attendance to appointments
- Follow through on commitments made the customer and the business
- Professional and accurate presentation of the business, the offer to the customer and final documentation
- To ensure that targets (installation revenue and new client) are consistently met
- Accurate submission of daily activity/ cold calling and marketing reports/feedback to relevant management prior to due date as required.
- Collaboration with various departments and role players within the organisation to deliver a superior customer experience including but not limited to:

- Escalation of client requests for service calls to the technical service department
- Liaison with technical to ensure that installation is completed as per solution sold
- Courtesy calls to clients for installation follow up and referral business
- To ensure that the client receives a full hand over and demonstration of the security system.

**Minimum qualifications and experience**:

- Matric is a minimum requirement with preference for tertiary qualification
- PSIRA Grade C
- 4+ years’ experience in sales preferred with customer solution sales experience ideal
- Own car and valid driver’s license required
- Planning and time management skills required
- Negotiation skills essential
- Excellent communication and listening skills essential
